No. Latent generates from up to nine photos of the piece you made and preserves its shape, proportions, glaze colour, materials and finish. The lip stays uneven where you threw it uneven, and the speckle stays where it fell.
Who sees the photos I upload?
Only you. Reference photos go into your private library. There is no public gallery and no shared feed.
Do I have to say a post is AI-generated?
Rules differ by platform and they change, so check each platform's current policy before you post. On Latent's side the facts are these: images are generated from photos of the piece you actually made, you review every image and caption before publishing, and nothing goes out without you.
Is Latent really free?
Yes, to start. Every account begins on the Free plan. A paid plan adds connecting your accounts and publishing, and Latent asks before it spends anything.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Latent runs in a browser tab. Upload the photos, type a prompt, read what comes back, publish.
Every piece is different. Do I start over for each one?
Each piece is its own product, so each gets its own photos: up to nine reference photos per product. Everything else carries across the kiln load. The prompt, the looks and the shape of the captions stay set once you like them.
